Dear whoever this may concern, We were wanting to recommend the Amazon tour that we just went on and to suggest its inclusion in any future editions of Lonely Planets. Gerry Hardy and Wilson Castro are the guides and directors of the Iguana Tour and they were very professional. From the start to the finish we were always kept busy and not only saw the Amazon but also saw the way of life of the locals. One of the nights we spe4nt in the jungle and we felt confident that the guides had taken every precaution in our safety and c omfort. They were always much obliging. It is very rare for anything in Brazil to run smoothly and we were pleasantly surprised by the efficiency of the organisers. Gerry was always based at the main camp and so was able to help with any problems or issues but he also still guides. He is very knowledgeable of the area and is able to recommend further reading for those who are enthuisastic for more! We stayed for three nights and four days but to stay for more would also be fun. The accomodation is hammocks within huts and is definitely clean and comfortable. The food was also very good, especially considering the problems they must have for feeding so many. Gerry Hardy no longer works for Jungle Experience as quoted in the lastest edition of the Lonely Planet and is no longer affiliated with his ex-partner Christopher Gomes. Thanking you for your time and we hope you are able to update your database. Yours sincerely,
Charlotte Swing
