Boat Expedition II (4 days and 3 nights)

 

Meeting of the Waters, Janauari Ecologic Park, Anavilhanas Archipelago and visit a local community, interaction with the freshwater pink dolphin.

Day 1:

8: 00am Pick up at the hotel and transfer to the harbor to catch the boat, 08h30 departure to the Meeting of the Waters meeting of the “Rio Negro” with “Rio Solimões”, over there the boat stops for around 30 minutes and the guide will explain why this phenomenon happens, after that you start going up the Rio Negro stream and go to the Ecologic park Janauary, visit the natives houses, spot some wild animals and plants (water lilies) with motorized canoe rides, recognize the region, piranha fishing and alligator spotting at night. Overnight in the boat.

Day 2:

After breakfast you will have the opportunity to take a walk in the jungle with descriptions of the local fauna and flora by the guide. After lunch you will visit and explore the grandiose “Anavilhanas Archipelago” and after you continue travelling to a high land jungle where you will spend the night camping in the jungle sleeping in hammocks with mosquito nets, to hear the night life sounds.

Day 3:

Early in the morning you will go for bird watching, and after breakfast you will explore small creeks and flood forest (seasonal) canoeing with a stop to interact with the freshwater pink dolphin in their natural habitat, in the afternoon, after lunch, you will go for another hike to try to see more about the local Fauna and flora with some instructions about survival in the jungle skills, back to the boat and overnight.

Day 4:

In the morning you start sailing downstream towards Manaus and on the way we stop to visit a local Community and if you want we can stop by a beach for a swim. Arrival in Manaus around 17h00.
